A user played Resident Evil Requiem 9 times and completed it in 2.5 hrs, here’s what they had to say

A user named Gene Park has already completed Resident Evil 9 times and anounced it on X, here is his condenced review:

Most survival horror games lose their tension the moment you know where the scares are hiding, but Capcom’s latest chapter is different. After rolling credits on Resident Evil Requiem nine times treating it less like a casual playthrough and more like a peer-reviewed study it is clear that this is the series’ most confident entry in ten years. It isn’t a flawless masterpiece, but the highs are so potent that they make the lows easy to forgive.

The first half of the game does the heavy lifting. The Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center is easily the strongest location the series has produced since the original trilogy. It is a masterclass in “puzzle box” design, where every locked door and looping corridor feeds into a sense of gothic, institutional dread.

The game loses momentum in the second half when series veteran Leon Kennedy takes over. While Leon looks better than ever, his return to Raccoon City feels like a missed opportunity. The setting is a dusty, nuked wasteland that lacks the personality of the Care Center.

It almost feels like four different games in one package. Once you know the routes and the scares, the fear turns into a satisfying rhythm of mastery. You memorize shortcuts, anticipate ambushes, and shave hours off your runtime. Resident Evil Requiem might trip over its own feet near the finish line, but the ride is so good you will want to get right back in line.

What we think of Resident Evil Requiem

Gene Park is so insane for completing the game so quickly, its asif he has scarfed down his food instead of enjoying it. However he has given us a VERY in-depth review and that is something worth thanking him for.

I personally think he nailed this review, however I disagree that the second half loses momentum, but maybe thats the nostalgia of playing as Leon in the game. I think I may be a little biased…
