2019 has a lot of upcoming games to get excited about, and even though we’re barely into January there’s already a tonne of AAA games that are about to release.
One of the most-talked-about games is, of course, BioWare and EA’s Anthem, the online RPG that’s going to see you kicking some serious alien ass.
Anthem is just a few weeks away from coming out now, and we’re still learning more and more about what’s set to be one of the biggest games of the year.
Over on Twitter, Anthem‘s lead producer Ben Irving spilled some new and tasty beans on what we can expect and it sounds pretty damn exciting.
In response to one fan’s question about how matchmaking will work in the game, Irving said: “there is matchmaking for every activity in the game.”

This is definitely exciting stuff for an online multiplayer of this scale. As one fan was quick to point out, it’s been a sore spot for similar titles, including the likes of Destiny…
Yes! This is something that has screwed up destiny for a long time. This is great. Already feeling good about buying!

If you’re an EA Access member and have pre-ordered the game then you really won’t have long to wait to give it a go.
As confirmed via Anthem‘s official Twitter, VIP Demo access for the title will start from 25th January 2019.
The VIP Demo starts January 25 and is available to Access members and those who pre-order #AnthemGame.
