The Apex Legends community is thriving and players are incredibly vocal about what they want to see added into the game. One of the most interesting ideas from the community is currently sitting at nearly 45k of upvotes over on Reddit, and for good reason.
One user has called for Respawn Entertainment to add in an ankle-biting ability, so that players who are crawling can still easily be on the attack. Let’s face it, it’s a pretty cool and unique idea…
The Apex player posted to the r/apexlegends subreddit saying: “Let us bite peoples ankle for like, 5 damage while we’re down if they get too close…I’m sick of being useless JUST because I’m bad at the game. Let me monch an ankle.”
The post has been getting a lot of love, and it’s an ingenious idea that Respawn will hopefully take note of.
One player responded saying: “Gonna go to bed, this better be at the top and hot patched in when I wake up.”
Another went on to add: “Can you have two golden shields in the game? A nice ankle biting contest at the end of the game! Apex Legends Zombie edition.”
Although it’s a bit of a silly idea, people are seriously running with it, with another player joking: “I can just imagine the champion dialogue for this. Just pathfinder cheerily shouting: om nom nom.”
Respawn hasn’t yet commented on the idea, but it wouldn’t be too surprising to see something like this being added to the game in the future.
Respawn is incredibly open when it comes to communicating with its Apex players, offering up regular weekly updates on the Apex Reddit thread.
