Baldur’s Gate 3 PC System Requirements – Minimum and Recommended Specs

With Baldur’s Gate 3 set to launch in just a few weeks, here’s what requirements your PC will have to meet in order to run it.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is the upcoming story-rich, party-based RPG from Larian Studios. As the third main game in the Baldur’s Gate series, it will follow the same concept of being based upon the Dungeon & Dragons tabletop game.

With the game set to leave early access on August 3, players will be able to get their hands on the full game in just a few weeks. For PC players, here’s which requirements your set-up will need.

Baldur’s Gate 3 Minimum Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 4690 or AMD FX 8350
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 or AMD Radeon RX 480
  • Storage: 150GB

Luckily the latest instalment does not require too many demanding specs to meet minimum requirements. Standard processors will suffice as long as you meet the required RAM to back them up. The game also isn’t too demanding on the GPU front for a 2023 release.

Recommended Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 Super or AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
  • Storage: 150GB

The recommended requirements are a bit more demanding with the game requiring double the amount of RAM as well as a hexa-core processor.

As you can see, Baldur’s Gate 3 will also require a hefty chunk of storage for both minimum and recommended. With this possibly resulting in a long download time, we will be sure to update you with pre-load times when they are announced.

So there you have it. Are you excited to get started on August 3?
