Baldur’s Gate 3 PC Worldwide Release Times – Everything You Need To Know

With Baldur’s Gate 3 just two days away, Larian Studios has revealed the game’s launch times for all time zones. Here’s when you can get stuck in.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is the latest instalment in the franchise of the same name. The RPG based on the much-loved tabletop role-playing game Dungeons and Dragons is set for launch on August 3. 

With the game coming in at a hefty 120GB and with no pre-load options, let’s take a look at when you can get downloading when the game launches in your area for PC.

Now the game is finally leaving its three-year early access period, here’s when the game releases fully worldwide: 

  • Los Angeles – 8am (August 3)
  • New York – 11am (August 3)
  • Quebec – 11am (August 3)
  • Rio De Janeiro – 12pm (August 3)
  • Dublin – 4pm (August 3)
  • Gent – 5pm (August 3)
  • Kuala Lumpur – 11PM (August 3)
  • Tokyo – 12am (August 4)
  • Sydney – 1am (August 4)
  • Auckland – 3am (August 4)

What Else To Know

As well as the confirmed release times and news of no pre-load, the team has also reminded players that any saved progress during the early access period will not be carried over.

Not only that but with the full game expecting to be almost entirely different and with many changes, Baldur’s Gate 3 will require a brand-new install. 

The Steam post also revealed that the game will be Steam Deck compatible upon launch and “it looks rad.” That’s good news for those who wish to delve into the RPG whilst on the go.

The post also reveals the title will be cross-save compatible at launch.
