Call Of Duty Gets Total Overhaul In Season 4 Reloaded Update

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone have received a seriously impressive update, offering up new modes, maps and more gun-toting goodness than you could shake a stick at. It’s not just your average update though – this is the Season Four Reloaded update, and it’s going to change up pretty much everything you’re used to with the CoD games.

There’s a lot to unpack here, so let’s start with the big changes. First up: the heavily-rumoured 200 player mode is now live. Yes, Verdansk will now host up to 200 players in Battle Royale Quads, in a new Limited Time event that’s sure to test your skills. As Activision says: “That means 50 Quads of Operators fighting each other and the encroaching circle collapse.”

That’s not the only change for Warzone though. Supply Run Contracts will now be up for grabs, offering you the chance to score discounts at Buy Stations. The new Juggernaut Royale mode is also now live, and there’s even the new Spotter Scope, a reusable scope without the worry of glint.

Modern Warfare has also just gotten a brand-new multiplayer map: Cheshire Park. Activision describes it as follows: “Located in urban London, England, Cheshire Park is a picturesque garden and conservatory where Operators will battle from door to door or through the central flora-filled area.

“Take to the townhomes for long sightlines, the stores to capture objectives through intense CQB battles, or take to the side streets to take some shortcuts. If you dare, try to challenge those who may set up shop in second story windows, phone booths, front yards, or scaffolding.”

I’m pretty much scratching the surface of Season Four Reloaded, so if you want all the ins and outs I suggest you check out the official Activision blog for all the details you need.
