Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Gets Intense New Mode In Latest Update

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is now well into its second season, and the latest game update has introduced a lot of new content to get your teeth stuck into.

One of the most exciting additions to come with the patch is the return of fan-favourite mode, Gunfight trios.

Over on the official Activision blog, the company writes: “Lead your team to victory in Gunfight trios. Battle with a variety of random weapons on small, close quarters battlefield, including the newly added Bazaar. Master the symmetry of Gunfight maps by reading up on our Gunfight Tactical Map Intel articles and ready up to take on any opponent.”

Other new additions to the game include new Operator, Mace. If you pick up the Mace Operator Bundle you’ll nab yourself the ‘Metal Phantom’ Operator skin, two weapon blueprints, the ‘Mace to the Face’ Finishing Move, two tier skips, and more.

The newly-added 1v1 Me Bro playlist has also seen an update, “where the radar is permanently on, so you can hunt down the enemy.” Here you’ll have to “utilize the constant radar pings to plan your attack but be wary because your opponent knows your location as well.”

If you fancy splashing some cash, you can now also pick up a Tamagotchi-like virtual pet to constantly bug you in battle.

The developer explains: “Rothwynn Industries is proud to introduce Tomogunchi. This is more than a mere watch: This is a nesting device that houses the most realistic artificial intelligence ever witnessed in a Rothwynn Industries wrist-based product.”

What that breaks down to is a pet that you hatch, feed and love.

If you pick up a Tomogunchi you’ll be subjected to it “craving almost constant attention” – even while you’re in combat.
