Capcom Has Transformed Lady Dimitrescu Into A Tantalising Towel

Resident Evil Village’s Lady Dimitrescu has become something of a sex icon. The antagonist is supposed to be a creepy member of Capcom’s monster collective. However, some people are just… plain into that.

If you’re one of those people, you’ll be pleased to know that Capcom has launched a Village themed competition. The prize? A life-sized Lady Dimitrescu towel [via Eurogamer].

… Link?

Announced via the Japanese Biohazard Twitter account, Capcom has given us a glimpse of the tantalising towel in all its splendour. In the video, a “stupid man thing” lies next to the towel for scale, accentuating its three-meter length. Sadly, the competition isn’t running outside of Japan. If you’re really desperate for it, you may have to look elsewhere for your ‘beach towel’ needs…

As an antagonist, Lady Dimitrescu can be best described as glamorous and grotesque. Traditionally, Capcom’s survival horror has featured creatures that are anything but easy on the eye. From lipless berserkers to weird-looking spaghetti men, they can be horrifying. Resident Evil Village’s femme fatale has been at the core of the game’s marketing since its announcement last year. Arguably, the Vampiric vixen has added to the overall excitement for the game for both old and new Resident Evil fans.

Recently, PlayStation 5 owners got the chance to step inside Castle Dimitrescu as part of a timed demo. The demo places players in the shoes of Ethan Winters. Gamers saw Ethan last when he was battling the Bakers in Resident Evil VII. While the last Resident Evil game’s setting was a run-down family home, Castle Dimitrescu is an eloquent playground. And yes, that means danger lurking around every corner. Fans of the original Resident Evil will likely appreciate the castle’s layout and its aesthetic, which is similar to the original Spencer mansion.

Resident Evil: Village is set to release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia and PC on the 7th May 2021.
