With incredible movies like Inception and The Dark Knight under his belt, it’s hard to question anything that Christopher Nolan does.
While we’re yet to learn any real details of the director’s latest project, one thing sounds certain – it will be his longest movie to date.
Speaking about the film, Twilight star Robert Pattinson says the film is “the craziest thing [he’s] seen in years” and that it’s “the length of three movies.”
Pattinson was speaking about his upcoming work to AZ Central, sharing that he was set to appear in Nolan’s next film.
Speaking to USA Today, Pattinson revealed the lengths that Warner Bros is going to in order to prevent spoilers from leaking.
“I got locked in a room to read the script – I don’t have it myself,” Pattinson said.
“I’ve been a little wary of doing big movies for years and years, but there’s just something about Chris Nolan’s stuff. He seems like the only director now who can do what is essentially a very personal, independent movie that has huge scale. I read the script and it’s unreal.”
While details remain very sparse, we know Pattinson will appear alongside Elizabeth Debicki and BlacKkKlansman‘s John David Washington.
Early rumours suggest that the film will be a “massive, innovative, action blockbuster.”
While The Hollywood Reporter described it as a “globe-trotting adventure that has shades of the mind-bending nature of Inception but does involve the time continuum.”
Either way, we’re VERY excited.
The film is set for a July 2020 release.
