The creators of some of the best music games of all time, Rock Band and Dance Central, have just revealed their brand-new game, FUSER.
FUSER, from Harmonix, promises “a nonstop virtual music festival where you control the music,” and it looks like you might need to dust off your dancing shoes for this one.
The game’s official description reads as follows: “From the creators of Rock Band & Dance Central comes FUSER – a nonstop virtual music festival where you control the music! Combine elements of the world’s most popular songs to create your own sound or partner with friends on epic collaborations, then share your amazing mixes and headlining performances with the world! FUSER comes to PC and consoles this fall. #PlayFuser“
Check out the brand-new trailer below.
According to the website, FUSER will have both a campaign mode and a freeplay mode. You’ll also be able to collaborate and compete with players across the globe thanks to multiplayer, and social sharing in-game will also be available.
FUSER definitely looks like it could fill a gap that Guitar Hero has left in my life.
There are 16 songs confirmed for the game so far, and it looks like a pretty decent mix of old-school bangers and new tracks.
50 Cent’s In Da Club, Billie Eilish’s bad guy, Blue Öyster Cult’s Don’t Fear The Reaper and The Clash’s Rock The Casbah are just a few of the stand-out songs revealed so far (you can check out the full playlist as it stands right here). Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Post Malone and Smash Mouth music will also feature.

FUSER will release on consoles and PC later this year. Will you be playing?
