Crystal Dynamics will be working on the Xbox exclusive, Perfect Dark reboot alongside The Initiative, according to a new tweet.
The Perfect Dark reboot was revealed at The Game Awards in 2020, with a typically James Bond-esque, cinematic trailer. However, since then we have heard little about the latest adventure from super-spy, Joanna Dark.
The Initiative is a new video game development company formed in 2018 and is a first-party Microsoft studio. The studio is led by Darrel Gallagher, who was previously the studio head at Crystal Dynamics.
The news of Crystal Dynamics working with The Initiative was announced over the weekend with a tweet from the new but ambitious studio.

I’m sure Crystal Dynamics will be more of a support role to The Initiative, but it’s an interesting collaboration, nonetheless. Crystal Dynamics is known for the recent Tomb Raider reboot trilogy as well as Marvel’s Avengers. So, this first-person spy-thriller will be something new for the team.
