Dead by Daylight has had its 6th anniversary content leaked early ahead of a celebration livestream slated for next week.
While Dead by Daylight won’t see its actual 6th anniversary until June, a livestream scheduled for May 17 was set to reveal upcoming content.
However, in a post shared to the Dead by Daylight subreddit, parts of the 24th chapter have leaked. If the leak is real, and it looks to be, it introduces a new killer, The Dredge, and a new survivor, psychic investigator Haddie Kaur.
What are the new characters like?
The Dredge is definitely one of the more frightening killers we’ve seen in the game. It mostly consists of a bundle of flesh with a long neck holding onto a mostly faceless head.
It has some interesting abilities too. One lets players see the auras of all survivors within 16 meters of any lockers for three seconds after opening a locker. More terrifyingly, it also has the ability to teleport into a locker, making them a much less safe bet for survivors.
Haddie Kaur has some great sounding abilities too. Residual manifest makes the killer affected by blindness for 30 seconds after a successful killer blind action. And another ability increases Haddie’s generator repair speed by four percent after cleansing any totem. But if you lose any health, the perk immediately deactivates.
Considering the livestream isn’t too far away, it won’t be too long until we find out more about these characters. Dead by Daylight also recently revealed that the survivor David King is a gay man, the first LGBTQIA+ character in the game.
