Anime fans will be delighted to hear that Demon Slayer will be getting adapted into a board game-style game known as Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mezase! Saikyou Taishi!

This will be heading to the Nintendo Switch in 2024 but is only set for a Japan release so far.

It will also feature much-loved characters such as Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Nezuko and more.

We don’t know too much about the game so far but we do know that it will follow a day and night cycle. During the day, players will engage in mini-games and events but during the night, they will have to battle demons and become the best demon slayer around.

A Bit Different

This game will be a bit different from the first major Demon Slayer game released in 2021. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles was a fighting game developed by CyberConnect2 which focused on combat and exploration.

In comparison, Mezase! Saikyou Taishi! Is set to be a light-hearted party game for co-operative and competitive play.

As it stands, there is no release date for the title and it may be a while before we see it released in the West. However, this is exciting news for fans of the series who would love to experience it with friends.
