Alongside a new trailer and September 20 release date for the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Nintendo FINALLY showed off the first trailer for the upcoming new Animal Crossing game, headed to the Nintendo Switch.

Entitled Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the game is the first home console AC game in a long time, with the last few titles releasing on handheld (and mobile) only.

Instead of being city or town-oriented, it looks like the new Animal Crossing is going to be totally island-based, and I absolutely cannot wait.

The trailer showed off a bunch of new feature including gardening, pole-vaulting and more.

From the trailer it’s looking absolutely glorious and it’s almost definitely going to be one of the Switch’s best-selling games thanks to the long-established franchise and millions of fans.

The new Animal Crossing will release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch, March 2020.

Other highlights of the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct included the announcement of No More Heroes 3 and the confirmation that the one and only The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

In my humble opinion, Nintendo absolute smashed E3 2019.
