An Elden Ring player has discovered a secret ‘Age of Absolute’ ending for the game’s story. Beware, there are spoilers ahead!

Elden Ring FAQ: Every Guide You’ll Need

The Age of Absolute ending for Elden Ring has been a debate within the Elden Ring community for a while now. Up until this point, there is thought to be six total endings for the game depending on your choices made throughout your playthrough.

Now, modder Garden Of Eyes has found the seventh secret ending to the game.

Before you get excited, the Age of Absolute ending isn’t possible in-game. At least, as far as we know right now. Garden Of Eyes found via a datamine inside the game’s code and assets.

SPOILERS AHEAD – age of absolute elden ring

For anyone who has finished Elden Ring, you’ll know that at the very end of the game you’re given the choice to mend the titular Elden Ring, or usher in a new age. In this new ending, players will get to start the Age of Absolute.

It isn’t too drastically different from some of the other endings. Players put Marika’s head back, similar to the regular ending, and the player sits on the throne with the Erdtree burning. We also see a five-fingered hand there, with some slightly altered dialogue.

While I’m not sure what to make of this ending right now, I’m sure the Elden Ring community is already full of theories to explain it. Since it was cut from the game, it might not even be a canon plot point.
