Elon Musk and his Tesla cars are no strangers to the world of video games, and thanks to the recent success of Netflix’s The Witcher, the beloved books and games are once again a hot topic. Musk recently got gamers across the globe excited when he took to Twitter to ask if we’d like to be able to play The Witcher on a Tesla. The answer, of course, was yes.
Musk recently tweeted out a poll to his followers, asking: “Want to play The Witcher game on your Tesla? (you can already watch the show on Tesla Netflix theater)”
Clearly a fan of the Netflix show and its iconic “Toss a Coin to your Witcher” song, he titled the options: “Yes [tosses coin]” and “No, I have the plague.”
After receiving over 70,000 votes in the poll, a whopping 85% of people said they’d love to be able to play The Witcher game. (If each of those voters literally tossed a coin, one of them might be able to afford a Tesla ha!)
It seems like a Tesla version of The Witcher might actually be on the cards, as Musk responded to some fan questions in the comments, and referenced that there’s “a list” of games he wants to bring to Tesla.
This include the SpaceX version of Kerbal Space Program and Minecraft.
We’ll see if it happens!
In other Elon Musk news, a petition has been started to get the Tesla Cybertruck added into the iconic Rocket League, and tbh, I’m all for it.
At the time of writing, the petition has reached over seven thousand signatures, and is just a few thousand more away from a 10k goal. Check out more about the Tesla Rocket League petition here.
