Frontier has revealed that their upcoming F1 Manager 2023 will be arriving next month. Fans can expect a new Sporting Director feature and more.
F1 Manager 2023 is an upcoming sports management game by Frontier Developments. It is the second instalment in the Frontier Developments’ F1 Manager series and the official racing management game of the Formula championships.
This instalment promises to be bigger and better with a bunch of new features added to the formula players already know and love.
What To Expect
The latest F1 Manager will feature 23 season-defining races and six F1 Sprint events. The events in question will welcome Sky Sports broadcaster David Croft and former Formula One racer Karun Chandhok as commentators.
There will also be a brand-new Race Replace feature. This will offer players access to Starting Grid Scenarios and Race Moments Scenarios. The former allows you to pick your team, track conditions and grid positions. The latter will see you taking control of your team during a specific moment of the Grand Prix. The feature aims to add a more lifelike feel to your races.
F1 Manager 2023 also introduces the Sporting Director. According to Frontier, it “gives fans the freedom to oversee their chosen F1 team on their own terms.”
It will include a driver confidence system which affects overtaking maneuvers. Prospective Team Principals focus on the current line-up of the team and will pick and choose racers from Formula 2 and 3 championships. You will also be able to negotiate in this mode.
Last but not least, weight consideration will make players think about their car’s performance vs its reliability.
