There aren’t many actors out there with an on-screen history as impressive as Giancarlo Esposito’s. The star shot to fame as the iconic Gustavo Fring in Breaking Bad, a role which he carried on over to spin-off prequel, Better Call Saul. Esposito’s more-recent credits include both Disney+ hit, The Mandalorian, and the upcoming game, Far Cry 6, but it doesn’t end there.
It seems as though the only direction is up for Esposito, and he’s aiming pretty high according to a new interview.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Esposito confessed his love of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, admitting he’d love “to work with those guys.” Even more exciting is that he says he “put it out there all the time,” so hopefully Disney will take note!

The actor told the publication: “What they do is fantastic. I want to do something enduring with them… I think the Marvel world would be likely the next step for me… I have my wish list still and I’ll still look to do that.”
He didn’t divulge anything more on the matter, leaving it up to speculation what other projects might be on his wish list, though now he’s ticked video games off his list, anything could be next!

The news of Esposito’s role in the upcoming Ubisoft release, Far Cry 6, was sadly leaked just before the official reveal. Speculation began when the actor himself teased a gaming project, and both the PlayStation Store page and the trailer leaked just hours before the official announcement.
Ubisoft describes the upcoming game as follows: “The Far Cry franchise has always had a flair for fascinating antagonists, and Far Cry 6 will feature actor Giancarlo Esposito (“Better Call Saul,” “The Boys,” “The Mandalorian”) as President Anton Castillo, the violent leader who grips the island of Yara with an iron fist, promising a return to its former glory. With an arsenal of weapons and allies at your back, you’ll take on Castillo’s regime and fight for the future of Yara.”
Far Cry 6 will release February 18, 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X.
