Xbox has announced its latest round of Games With Gold titles for December. During the last month of the year, players will be able to download The Escapists 3, Tropico 5 – Penultimate Edition, Orcs Must Die! And Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet.
The monthly subscription service, which starts at £6.99, offers gamers free monthly games alongside the ability to play games online. Subscribers to Game Pass Ultimate also have access to the free monthly games. The game’s are staggered through the month, with two releasing in the first half, and the other two releasing in the second half.
The Escapists 2 is a strategy role-playing game that tasks players with breaking out of prison. Played from a top-down perspective, you take control of an inmate as they complete quests for fellow inmates and search for methods of escape.
Tropico 5 allows players to control and construct an island paradise. As you build and manage the island of tropico, you can advance through four different ages while completing missions. The Penultimate Edition features two additional add ons, and five new exclusive Xbox One maps.
Orcs Must Die! Is a tower defense action game in which players must defend their base from hordes of violent orcs. With countless weapons, spells and traps and 24 fortresses to use them in, there’s no shortage of ways to kill orcs in the highly-rated indie game.
Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet is a shooter puzzle video game that features Metroidvania-like elements of exploration. Released over ten years ago, the game features unique visuals inspired by a Nickelodeon short that aired in 2005.
