Here’s what’s coming to Xbox Game Pass this December. It’s fair to say that it’s another great month for subscribers.
We have alien invasions, covert imposters, and indie farmers. Oh, and a certain green suited superhero who’s out to save the galaxy once more. Xbox Game Pass is stacked this month and here’s what you have to look forward to this Christmas season.
To kick things off, we have seven games available from today. Here’s what’s playable as of December 2nd, 2021:
ANVIL (PC and Console) – ANVIL (Ancient Vault Investigation Lab) is a top-down co-op shooter with roguelike gameplay mechanics. ANVIL features random planets and unique boss fights where no two playthroughs will be the same. Taking control of a ‘Breaker’ it’s your duty to: “seek out and explore the unknown galaxy searching for these ancient alien vaults.”
Archvale (PC, Cloud and Console) – This is a bullet hell shooter with RPG elements. Blast your way through an ever-changing world as you fight to uncover the truth about the mythical Archvale. But at what cost?
Final Fantasy XIII-2 (PC and Console) – Return to this beloved RPG classic of 2011 from Square Enix. In the follow-up to FF XIII, you will meet: “new characters and test yourself with a new, enhanced battle system. It’s no longer about-facing destiny; it’s time to create a new future and change the world!”

Stardew Valley is one of the most surprisingly deep and relaxing indie games there has ever been. This is a game that should not be overlooked.
Warhammer 40,000: Battlesector (PC, Cloud and Console) – Inspired by the iconic Warhammer table-top franchise, 40,000 Battlesector is a turned-based strategy game with a focus on warfare and high octane action. Once more humanity’s fate hangs in the balance and it’s up to the Master Chief to save the day. This time, the Chief facies one of his deadliest foes known as the Banished. However, there is an imposter in the ranks, and they will stop at nothing to sabotage your plans to stop you from departing. A group of players control the Crew, while one plays the Imposter.
