The voice actor behind Aloy has stated that Horizon Forbidden West will be “more and better” than Horizon Zero Dawn.

Horizon Forbidden West is the highly anticipated sequel to the fantastic Horizon Zero Dawn which was released for PS4 in 2017. The sequel will release for both PS4 and PS5 this year (assuming we get no delays of course) and fans are incredibly excited to see where Aloy’s adventures take us next.
Ashly Burch who is the voice of Aloy told Gamesradar she’s “just so excited for it,” teasing fans with her comments on the upcoming release.

“I’m also a fan, so I’ll be in recording sessions and we’ll be recording a scene and I’m like, ‘I can’t wait to do this fight or I can’t wait to explore this area!”
Burch added: “All of the things that people loved about Zero Dawn, the gorgeous world, the immersive story, the awesome gameplay; Forbidden West is just more and better.”
When speaking about the story of Horizon Forbidden West, Burch compared being told the stories of the sequel to being like “a kid at a campfire”.

“The new areas that Aloy is travelling to, the tribes that she’s meeting, and the story that unfolds […] I got a primer on it all before recording for the game, where the writing team took me through the arc of the story and it was like being a kid at a campfire,” Burch told Gamesradar.
As a fan of the original game, I couldn’t be more excited for Horizon Forbidden West, but it still wouldn’t surprise me if the game got delayed into 2022 due to the ongoing global pandemic.
