Call of Duty Warzone 2: How To Unlock The M13B Assault Rifle

Here’s how to get the M13B Assault Rifle available to use in multiplayer across Call of Duty Warzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 (MW2).

With the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone 2 earlier this week, a new battle pass, challenges and weapons have been added to MW2. And this includes the M13B assault rifle.

The rifle was a fan favourite in the first Modern Warfare and Warzone games, and it has now returned to be used across all multiplayer modes in Warzone 2. Here’s exactly how to unlock it in Season 1 of the Call of Duty Warzone 2 Battle Pass.

How to get the m13b in mw2

To unlock the M13B assault rifle in MW2 and Warzone 2, you need to either purchase a bundle from the store containing the weapon, or beat a challenge available in Warzone’s DMZ mode.

The DMZ challenge that unlocks the M13B assault rifle is as follows: “Unlock by defeating The Chemist in the Radiation Zone of DMZ and extracting his dropped weapon.

The Chemist is an enemy in Warzone 2’s DMZ mode. They can be found wearing a yellow hazmat suit inside the centre of the radiation zone. To venture safely inside the radiation zone, you’ll also need a gas mask, which you can acquire from defeating and scavenging another AI player inside the zone.

Once you have defeated the Chemist, be sure to pick up their weapon and head to the exfil to extract from the mission.

Annoyingly, it seems that only the player holding the M13B assault rifle will actually unlock the challenge and weapon. Others in their squad will not receive credit and won’t be able to unlock it.

And that’s how you unlock the M13B assault rifle in Call of Duty: Warzone 2 and MW2! After that, you should be able to add it to any of your loadouts.
