Newly-released Call of the Sea has made a splash on Xbox and PC, already wowing fans with its immersive island gameplay and riveting mysteries.

Developed by Out of the Blue and published by Raw Fury, Call of the Sea takes place on an island in the South Pacific in 1934. What awaits you on your journey? You’ll have to play it to find out!
Call of the Sea’s wonderful art and style already sets it apart from many of the releases we’ve seen this year. Explore the game’s sun-soaked beaches, its ancient ruins and even its underwater worlds. Along with its incredible visuals, the game also features actor Cissy Jones, who you might recognise from games like Firewatch and Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead Season One.
“Immerse yourself in a story-driven adventure full of emotion, suspense and surreal surprises,” says the game’s Steam page. “Investigate the clues left by a previous voyage, piece together what happened, and solve a variety of clever puzzles.”

Despite being less than a month old, Call of the Sea has already amassed a legion of adoring fans thanks to its excellent blend of exploration, puzzle-solving and discovery. Nominated for both IGN’s Best Adventure/Puzzle Game 2020 and IGN’s Best Xbox Exclusive 2020, you definitely won’t want to miss out on this one.
The best news is that Call of the Sea is actually available through Xbox Game Pass, meaning if you’re a subscriber of the service, you can test it out right now without spending a penny! For those not signed up to the Xbox service, Call of the Sea is also available via Steam, GOG and Humble Bundle!
Definitely a must-play indie game for 2020, prepare yourself for the emotional rollercoaster of Call of the Sea today!
