Keanu Reeves is known to be one of the nicest human beings in the whole entire world, and now the esteemed actor has been recognised by the people as being the 10th most admired man on the planet.
Reeves isn’t just an incredible actor, but he’s also known for his charitable donations – and for his unwillingness to accept praise for all the good he does for the world.
The star has now been recognised by a YouGov poll which sought to find the most admired men on Earth. Appearing alongside some of the most influential people of our time including Barack Obama, the Dalai Lama, and Jackie Chan, Keanu Reeves’ impressive number 10 spot is a huge achievement.
In case you’re not familiar with Reeves outside of his roles in movies like The Matrix and John Wick, the star is well recognised for his charity donations.
According to a report from the Epoch Times, Reeves said in a 2009 interview: “I have a private foundation that’s been running for five or six years, and it helps aid a couple of children’s hospitals and cancer research. I don’t like to attach my name to it; I just let the foundation do what it does.”
Earlier this year, Reeves also auctioned off a Zoom date with proceeds going to Camp Rainbow Gold, a children’s cancer organisation which works to provide emotionally empowering experiences to young people with cancer.
His charity work is just a drop in the bucket of nice-guy goodness performed by Reeves, who actually must have been holding the top spot on Santa’s gift list for the past 30 years.
Keanu is set to make his video game debut later this year, when CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 release in November.
