Kojima’s Edit Of The ‘Final’ Death Stranding: Director’s Cut Trailer Is Epic

The final trailer for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut has been released, and it’s been edited by none other than Hideo Kojima himself.

Veteran video game developer Hideo Kojima is known is one of the most prolific in the industry. He’s brought us the classic Metal Gear Solid franchise and has even dabbled in the horror world with the infamous Silent Hills demo, P.T. Though for my own well-being, I’ll steer clear of what could have been with Kojima’s vision of P.T.

Usually, when a video game trailer is released, it might be done in house by another small team of developers or even outsourced. However, the final trailer for Death Stranding: Director’s Cut has been edited by Kojima himself and it’s epic!

Be wary of spoilers!

The trailer shows plenty of gameplay and story beats from the campaign, as well as some of the content new to the Director’s Cut. However, as a heads up, for those that have never played Death Stranding, there are a few spoilers in the trailer. So please, keep that in mind before watching.

The “Final Trailer” very much reminds me of a well-produced music video or a movie that is on the verge of being released at the cinema. It really is a fantastic trailer in my opinion. The song that features in the trailer is a perfect fit too. For those interested, the song is called “Wonderkid” from Goliath.
