It’s believed that the developers behind the L.A Noire VR game, Case Files, are working on a new “AAA open world game” for Rockstar Games.

The rumours comes via VGC, where it’s reported that Video Game Deluxe’s LinkedIn page recently revealed some new details on a previously unannounced project.
A celebratory post from the page reads as follows: “Having finished the critically well received L.A.Noire: The V.R. Case Files we are now gearing up for a new project, a AAA open world title in VR for Rockstar. 2020 marks our 7th year of working exclusively for Rockstar in Sydney and we are excited to taking on this ground breaking project.

“We have a number of job openings in our Sydney studio including Senior Programmers, Engine Programmer, Designer and Animator. If you are interested in one of these positions or would like two speak to someone who works here about VGD please get in touch.”
Though it might not be a direct sequel to L.A Noire, a new VR game definitely has my interest. L.A Noire: The V.R Case Files released back in 2017 and received pretty good reviews.

In related news, another new LinkedIn post from a Rockstar Games employee has raised eyebrows across the internet, as it appears to tease an unannounced R* game.
As reported by Dexerto, a Twitter user by the name of NickPlaysGamesX stumbled across the LinkedIn page of a Rockstar employee, Sarah Overend, which mentions work on a TBA [To Be Announced] title.
Could these stories be linked, and does this mean a new L.A Noire game really is on the cards? We’ve heard a few rumours of this already this year, so let’s keep fingers crossed for an official update from Rockstar Games!
