At the Capcom Showcase event, it was revealed that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will be getting a trial version of the game this month.
The highly anticipated RPG sequel to the Monster Hunter series will be getting the free trial on June 25th, so we’ve not got long to wait.
Your progress will carry over
Yes, that’s right, by playing the trial version your progress will carry over into the full game. Now that’s a nice bonus!
Additionally, Capcom also revealed that Monster Hunter Stories 2 will be getting free content updates from July 15th. The first content update to arrive will introduce monstie in the Palamute, which first made its debut in Monster Hunter Rise.
However, that is not all because we also got to enjoy a new extended gameplay trailer. In the extended gameplay footage, we got to see plenty of gorgeous gameplay from exploration, combat, and a hint of what to expect from the story. We even got to see the reveal that fan-favourite characters such as Velkhana, Teostra, and Seregios will be making their triumphant returns.
