‘Nuclear Warhead’ Discovered In Call Of Duty: Warzone Bunkers

The bunkers in Call of Duty: Warzone can now be opened, and players have been busy digging around to find out just what’s inside these never-before-accessed areas. Today’s latest patch has introduced a new item called the Red Access Card, which permits entry into some of the most mysterious parts of the map: the bunkers.

Check out one exploration in the tweet below.

For those who access the bunkers, you’ll be met with even more locked doors, suggesting there’s even more secrets to come from the new revelation.

YouTube’s Geek Gaming Squad recorded their investigation of one of the bunkers in particular, which was shown to have a red light on it when none of the others did. With the help of a drone, Gaming Geek Squad and friends managed to clip through the walls, where they discovered what looks like a giant nuclear bomb. Check it out in the video below.

As you can see, it looks like a giant nuclear warhead has been hiding under Verdansk this whole time. Dataminers in the Modern Warzone Discord did some further investigations, and have unearthed the name “nuke_coreless.” [Via Eurogamer].

A dataminer by the name of AlfaTheseus also found in-game models for a remote-controlled explosive car, as well as a U-2 plane. Fans have already drawn comparisons between the newly-discovered plane model and the unforgettable Spy Plane from Black Ops.

Although we’re not yet sure what all of this points to, it looks like we might be getting clues as to what the fourth season of Warzone might involve. Warzone’s next season is expected to start at the beginning of June.
