Overwatch 2 Reveals Tracer Mythic Skin And New Way To Unlock It

Overwatch 2 has revealed its latest Mythic skin and this time it’s for its original character Tracer. It comes alongside a new way to unlock them.

Blizzard has revealed that Tracer will be the next hero to get a Mythic skin alongside the likes of Genji, Kiriko, Junker Queen and Sigma. Mythic skins are more unique than the game’s Legendary skins and also allow you to customize them.

Now alongside the arrival of Tracer’s new skin, Blizzard have also revealed that there will be a unique way to unlock it.

New Ways To Unlock

Until now, players would gain access to the Mythic skins when they reached the final level of the Season’s battle pass. This would mean a lot of grinding.

Now for Season 5, players will be able to start unlocking the skin once they reach Battle Pass tier 45. Then at tier 65 they can unlock the Intermediate version before unlocking it fully with the Complete variant at tier 80.

This means that you will have three possible options for Tracer’s Mythic skin which has fantasy-style characteristics.

The base model gives the dps-hero pointed ears which you can then choose to cover up with a hood at the Intermediate level. Finally, the Complete variant adorns her in full knight’s gear.

Overwatch 2 Season 5

It has been a tough few months for Blizzard’s Overwatch 2 with the news that its anticipated PvE mode was cancelled. However, with a successful Pride mode available this month and the promise of more Mythic skins, some fans are satiated. For now.

Season 5 kicks off on June 13 but until then, you can look forward to a launch trailer dropping on June 12 at 1:55 PM EST | 10:55 AM PST.
