PUBG’s latest new skin has gotten fans all riled up – because it looks like the genitalia of a male lion. Apparently.
PUBG Corp recently unveiled its new content for Halloween, including a number of animal costumes for you to get into the spooky spirit with, but the Leo Lion Jumpsuit skin was quickly pulled from sale.
PUBG issued a statement via Twitter, writing: “Please be aware that the ‘Leo Jumpsuit’ is temporarily unavailable for purchase as we work to resolve an issue related to this skin.
“Any players who have already purchased the skin will have their BP refunded.”
Although PUBG went with the term “issue,” players are pretty convinced that the issue is that the skin looked like a penis.
When landing while wearing the Leo Jumpsuit, the lion tail can be seen sticking out from the player in a very suggestive way. Honestly, it’s the most penis-looking thing I’ve ever seen that hasn’t actually been a penis.
If you’ve purchased the Leo skin in its current form then you’ll be receiving a refund if you haven’t already, and we assume the skin will be making a return to the game in a much more SFW manner. For now, you can still don the lion head, just not his very excited body.
Until the lion skin comes back you’ll have to make do with all the other new Halloween skins released for the game.
On the official PUBG website the developer writes: “Light those jack-o-lanterns and reload your shotguns because new Halloween costumes are dropping onto the Battlegrounds.
“Frightfully fun Halloween costumes are coming to PUBG! Whether you’re following the yellow brick road to the final circle or committing piracy off the coast on an aquarail, we’ve got a new costume for you to celebrate the Halloween season in style.
“Halloween skins will become available when Patch 4.3 hits the live server. The costume sets that will be available in the store for a limited time are the Pirate Captain and Swashbuckler costumes, the Kansas and Scarecrow sets, and finally her Royale highness, The Skeleton Queen. Each set will be sold in individual pieces or as a set at a spooktacular 33% off! We’ve also included The Leo costume that can be purchased using your coveted BP.
