A Red Dead Redemption 2 player has found a surprising detail about Arthur Morgan’s hat in the Rockstar Games western hit.
Despite releasing over three years ago, it’s fantastic that players are still finding cool tiny details in Red Dead Redemption 2. This particular detail involves Arthur Morgan’s hat, though it is perhaps as tragic as the protagonist’s tale.
As reported by Game Rant, an eagled-eyed player on Reddit noticed a small detail about Morgan’s hat that you may have missed. RDR2 fan, GTA5_RAM noticed a photo of Lyle Morgan, Arthur’s father, above his bed at his camp. In the photo, Lyle is wearing the exact same hat that Arthur is wearing in-game.
Arthur is even more complex than we thought
This minor detail makes Arthur’s story even sadder. Without giving too much away, no matter what choices you make in RDR2, you will still encounter some tragedy.
In the game, Arthur talks about his father in his journal. Arthur reveals that he was regularly beaten by his father, and naturally holds resentment towards him. Which makes Arthur’s decision to wear his father’s hat all the more complex.
