Sony Announces PlayStation Plus Games For November

It’s the end of October which can only mean one thing: it’s time for Sony’s monthly PlayStation Plus freebie announcement! (Oh and also Halloween I guess).

The new offerings for the month of November are as follows:

Nioh: If you haven’t yet played Nioh (and you’re a PlayStation Plus subscriber) then congrats! You’re in for a treat with this absolute gem of a game.

Sony’s official description for the game reads as follows: “Take up your sword and travel to Japan’s blood-bathed Sengoku period – an era ravaged by warring states and dark, malevolent forces – and cut a violent path through the land as the masterless samurai, William.

“Cross blades in brutal hand-to-hand combat, wielding swords, axes, spears and even war hammers against foes both human and demon. Endure the vicious encounters and learn from your mistakes: each death will bring you resurrection and each resurrection a greater resolve to overcome your foes.
Taking inspiration from the Ninja Gaiden and Dark Souls series of games, Nioh invites you to muster the resilience of a true samurai: the skills and patience to overcome even the deadliest enemies and the courage to remain steadfast even in the face of death.

Next up we have Outlast 2. Maybe a little bit too late for the spookiest month of the year, but still definitely a welcome treat for horror fans.

Outlast 2’s official description reads as follows: “An investigation has led you miles into the Arizona desert, to a darkness so deep that no one could shed light upon it, and a corruption so profound that going mad may be the only sane thing to do.”

Not a bad month from Sony, but how does it stack up against the rest of the 2019 PS+ offerings?

There’s still time to download this month’s free games. Of course we have The Last Of Us Remastered, so grab that while you still have the chance.
