Earlier this year Ubisoft made the controversial decision to forgo Steam and instead sell The Division 2 through the Epic Games Store and its own Uplay store.

It seems like it may have been the right choice for Ubisoft, as it’s been revealed that the game has sold considerably well on PC.
According to recently-revealed figures, sales of The Division 2 through Ubisoft’s Uplay store have gone up by ten times over the original The Division, which is definitely cause to celebrate.
Unfortunately, the game hasn’t sold that well on console, with Ubisoft admitting it’s underperformed in console sales.
However, it looks like Ubisoft is set to have a pretty exciting year, as it’s confirmed that four AAA titles will be launching within the next 12 months.

Industry analyst Daniel Ahmad writes: “Skull and Bones will no longer launch this fiscal year and will now launch after March 2020.
“Ghost Recon Breakpoint is one. The other 3 will be revealed soon.”
With some absolutely amazing titles from Ubisoft in the past few years, we’re pretty excited to see what’s on the horizon.
One of the mystery projects has been called a “unique genre / a unique experience,” which has definitely pricked up the ears of a lot of gamers.
Hopefully we’ll hear more about these upcoming games at E3 2019, which kicks off in just a few weeks’ time.
There’s been rumours swirling around suggesting a new Assassin’s Creed game might be on the way, and with the success of 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, we can’t wait to see what Ubi pulls out of the bag next for its beloved franchise.

E3 2019 begins June 11, though sadly it’ll be missing the likes of Sony for the first time in the event’s history.
What are you hoping to see from Ubisoft in the future?
