Free is the best.

The Epic Games Store Is Giving Away 12 Free Games For The Holiday

The Epic Games Store is gearing up to appeal to the masses with yet another round of free games for its users. As you probably know by now, the Epic Store offers up two free games a month (and they’re actually free, you don’t need to pay for a membership or anything) and the company has kicked it up a notch for the festive season.

Unfortunately, Epic is keeping schtum on what these 12 free games actually are, but hey, free is free.

If you’re interested in what Epic might have to offer then you (thankfully) don’t have too long to wait, as the big batch of freebies will be up for grabs from December 19 2019.

If that wasn’t enough, Epic’s giveaways for this month are already pretty darn exciting. Telltale Games’ The Wolf Among Us is an absolute gem of a dark comic book fantasy, and The Escapists just needs playing if you haven’t already.

The official description for TWAU reads as follows: “Based on the award-winning Fables comic books (DC Comics/Vertigo). As Bigby Wolf – THE big bad wolf – discover that a brutal, bloody murder is just a taste of things to come in a game series where your every decision can have enormous consequences.”

Meanwhile, The Escapists’ description states: “You’ve landed yourself in prison again, and your only chance is to engineer an escape by any means necessary. How you do it is up to you! Why not cause a prison riot? Or dig a tunnel right under the walls of the prison? Or even steal a guard uniform to blend in with your captors?…”

It’s never been a better time to get into The Wolf Among Us if you haven’t yet. During The Game Awards 2019 a sequel to the beloved last-gen title was announced, and it’s gotten us feeling all nostalgic for the OG version.

If you haven’t signed up to the Epic Games Store then you can do so right here and start enjoying your free games.
