YouTuber Will Drive Around GTA 5 Endlessly Until GTA 6 Releases

It’s been a hot minute since Grand Theft Auto 5 released and we’re all hoping that the next game in the series is already being worked on behind the scenes at Rockstar Games.

One YouTube channel seems to be hoping a little more than everyone else though, as its creators have pledged to drive around and around the map of GTA 5 until GTA 6 releases. Now that might not sound like a big deal, but we’re talking what’s probably going to be at least two years, seeing as the game hasn’t even been announced yet.

As spotted by Game Rant, YouTube channel 10 Hour Movies is apparently going to be livestreaming their journey through the streets of GTA 5, and they’re live at the time of writing.

The channel has just less than 500,000 subscribers and is looking for donations to keep the stream going.

The video’s description reads: “The car travels the GTA 5 map to the premiere of GTA 6, which will probably take place in over 365 days!”

I wish the channel good luck in its very ambitious goals.

Hopefully we don’t have too long to wait for GTA 6, as one of the GTA insiders has hinted at its release date.

The leak stems from actor Steven Ogg, who you might recognise from shows like The Walking Dead, Better Call Saul, Westworld, and a little-known video game called Grand Theft Auto 5.

Ogg, who played the one and only Trevor Phillips in GTA 5, recently opened up during Brazil Game Show, where he reportedly told the audience that the next instalment in the series is coming “soon.”

Sure, “soon” is an incredibly vague thing to say, but he also went on to add something very interesting, saying that Rockstar Games’ bigger games take around seven to eight years to make. He then said: “Do the math.”

We’ll just have to wait for some sort of confirmation from Rockstar Games as to when the next Grand Theft Auto will be coming out, but honestly, I’m happy for them to take their time and give us one of the best games ever.
