A New Nintendo Direct Is Expected This Month

A new Nintendo Direct event is apparently expected to be broadcast later this month, according to industry leaker, Zippo.

As reported by VGC, Zippo updated a blog post claiming that a new Nintendo Direct will take place within the next few weeks. It’s even likely that the Nintendo Direct would even be as early as Wednesday or Thursday next week.

It should come as little surprise that we might get a Direct this month, as it’s a regular event throughout the year. Zippo claims that his information comes from multiple sources.

We don’t know what games will be showcased during the Nintendo Direct, however, Zippo claimed that the event will: “focus on their remaining line-up for this year and will give us peeks at early 2022 games.

Zippo also believes that it’s: “it’s logical to expect final looks at Metroid Dread, Mario Party Superstars, the final Smash character and Advance Wars 1+2.

While it’s fun airing our expectations prior to any showcase event, if there’s one thing I’ve learned from Nintendo Direct events, it is to curb my enthusiasm.

However, I can often express unrealistic expectations. So, if I don’t get a Breath of the Wild 2 release date or a Half-Life 12 announcement, I’ll riot. That said, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise.
