A Plague Tale: Requiem now has a release date. Furthermore, we’ve also been treated to an extended trailer featuring 10-minutes of gameplay.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is the sequel to 2019’s “Innocence“, a game that perhaps caught many surprise considering its low production budget. However, the sequel promises to be bigger and better than its predecessor. Oh, and we’ll of course be treated to a plague of new-gen rats, lovely.
“In a new extended gameplay sequence, follow Amicia and Hugo as they make their way through a massive ochre-red quarry overwhelmed with soldiers eager to capture them,” reads the press release.
“Fortunately, the duo has many new tricks up their sleeves and don’t shy away from getting their hands dirty. Watch how it all plays out and get ready to embark on their heart-rending journey into a brutal, breathtaking world, and discover the cost of saving those you love in a desperate struggle for survival.”
When does Requiem release?
A Plague Tale: Requiem will release on October 18th, 2022, for PC, PlayStation 5 as well as Xbox Series X|S. Furthermore, a cloud version will also be released for the Nintendo Switch, and it will also launch on day one via Xbox Game Pass.
In related A Plague Tale news, back in March this year it was confirmed that there will be a TV series adaptation. “It’s official! I’m honoured to work on the adaptation as a TV series of A Plague Tale,” wrote director Mathie Turi.
“Thank you to Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment for their trust. I can’t wait to bring Amicia and Hugo’s journey to the screen.”
