Originally releasing on Steam earlier this year, Bright Memory is a lightning-fast fusion of the FPS and action genres, created by one-man development studio FYQD using Unreal Engine.

An exciting addition to Xbox’s next-gen day one line-up, Bright Memory is a must-play shooter boasting a “Very Positive” review on Steam.

Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that the next game from FYQD, Bright Memory: Infinite, is coming to Xbox Series X/S next year.

Promising to deliver one heck of a punch, this is one FPS that’s looking unbelievable with its fast-paced action and stunning visuals. If you’re not wholly sold on your FPS games, don’t worry, as Bright Memory: Infinite has more of a blend of the action genre than your typical first-person shooter.

Made by a solo developer at FYQD Studio and published by PLAYISM, Bright Memory: Infinite might just be one of the most exciting releases for the next generation of console gaming.

You’ll need to master your weapons and perfect your combat attacks to bring down your enemies in this dazzling futuristic title, running in 4K Ultra HD on Xbox Series X.

The game’s official description explains more about the game world, and what you’ll be doing in it.

“Bright Memory: Infinite is set in a sprawling, futuristic metropolis in the year 2036. A strange phenomenon for which scientists can find no explanation has occurred in the skies around the world,” says the official description.

“The Supernatural Science Research Organisation (SRO) has sent agents out to various regions to investigate this phenomenon. It is soon discovered that these strange occurrences are connected to an archaic mystery – an as-of-yet unknown history of two worlds, about to come to light…”

If you’re not picking up a next-gen console quite yet, don’t worry, as the game will also be coming to Steam sometime next year. If this is one for you, you can wishlist it right here.

The original Bright Memory joins the day one lineup of Xbox Series S/X launch day titles on Tuesday, 10 Nov. 2020 ahead of the 2021 release of Bright Memory: Infinite on Steam and Xbox.
