Here’s Everything Coming In Modern Warfare Season 2

Season Two of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is upon us, and Activision has revealed the entire content roadmap for the full season. Excitingly, there’s not only a butt-tonne of new playables available from the Feb 11 launch, but there’s also a lot more to come!

Here’s everything you can expect from the brand-new tier of fun from the moment you log in:

New Multiplayer Maps. The first new multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare’s second season are Rust and Atlas Superstore. Rust had been rumoured for a while, but Atlas Superstore is sure to please a lot of gamers!

New Ground War Map. The latest Ground War Map is Zhokov Boneyard.

New Gunfight Maps. These include Bazaar “and more,” so I guess we might have to wait a little longer for the full reveal of those.

New Multiplayer Modes. The brand-new multiplayer modes introduce Gunfight Tournaments and CDL Playlist. Hooray!

New Operator. Ghost is once again making a return to the CoD world, and he’s sporting a brand new look too!

New Weapons. The GRAU 5.56 and the Striker 45 have entered the game so get ready to wreak more havoc than ever before.

That’s what you’ll find in the game from the launch (Feb 11), but the future looks just as exciting. Activision has confirmed the following latecomers to the party:

New Multiplayer Map – Khandor Hideout.

New Operators – Talon and Mace.

New Multiplayer Modes – Infected Ground War, Gunfight Variants, NVG Reinforce, “and more.”

New Weapon. A “Classified” new weapon.

All of the fresh content will be available for everyone at the same time, regardless of which platform you’re on. (Except for the PS4 exclusive content, which you can check out here). There’s no set date for the second wave of season two goodness, but there’s more than enough to keep you entertained for right now!

Sadly, there’s yet to be any mention of the much-wanted Battle Royale mode.
