Amazon has announced the latest games arriving on its Prime Gaming service in August.
Who can say no to free games? Alright, technically they’re not “free”, but if you’re a member of the Amazon Prime service then this month’s gaming collection is a pleasant bonus. Amazon Prime members also gain access to the Prime Gaming service which regularly serves customers with free games and in-game items.
All you need to do is redeem the products via the Prime Gaming service and then they’re yours to keep forever. There’s no need to maintain a subscription to Amazon Prime, unlike PlayStation Plus. So, what games are available for free on Prime Gaming in August?
Prime Gaming Games – August 2021
We already knew that Battlefield 1 and V would be available for free after it was announced last week. Battlefield 1 has been available to download for free this week and will remain available to redeem until 4th August. Get moving fast!
Battlefield 1 is the WW1 themed shooter from the developers over at DICE. The multiplayer player base is still alive and kicking, and there’s even a short campaign that depicts an anthology of war stories from throughout the Great War.
Battlefield V is the successor to Battlefield 1 and shifts its vision to WWII. This one arrives on the service on 2nd August and will be available right the way through until October. Both of these are perfect pickups if you’re getting excited for Battlefield 2042 which releases later this year!
Other notable mentions include Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis. A classic point and click adventure game, this will be great to get you excited for the new film that’s currently being filmed in the UK. And don’t forget about the new Indy game coming from MachineGames soon!
Other in-game items
Rainbow Six Siege players might be looking to grind out some XP before the new season starts soon. There’s a 7 day renown booster up for grabs on the service if you act fast!
For those of you who are stuck into Genshin Impact, you can enjoy a few extra items to help you on your way. There’s 60x Primogems, 8x Hero’s Wit and 5x Mushroom Pizza up for grabs!
Fall Guys players are able to redeem a Beetle Buddy bundle as well as 6,500 kudos to spend on whatever you like in the cosmetic shop.
Later in the month, players will also be able to grab cosmetic items for Legends of Runeterra, Valorant, Sea of Thieves, Destiny 2, and a bunch more.
