Respawn Entertainment’s surprise launch of a battle royale set in the Titanfall universe has taken the whole world by storm, and it’s racked up a seriously impressive number of players since it released last month.
Apex Legends took to social media to announce that it’s hit the 50 million player mark – and it’s happened in a quarter of the time it took Epic Games’ Fortnite to reach that height.

Players couldn’t be happier with how Apex launched, with lots of people praising the developers for creating something truly remarkable.
You can tell by playing this game that it was made by devs who thoroughly wanted to make a fun game. Great job @respawn – Looking forward to the Star Wars game as well.
