Apex Legends Kill Record Has Just Been Obliterated

Respawn Entertainment’s Apex Legends free-to-play battle royale is the hottest game to be playing right now, and its legions of fans are already working their way up the skill ladder in terms of number of kills

NRG player Dizzy was the record-holder for most kills by a single player in the free-to-play battle royale game, holding down a very impressive 33 kills in a single match – basically half the lobby.

The world record, set by Dizzy on February 11th, saw him rack up over 5,000 damage to snare the kills, but surprisingly he’s already lost his top-spot to Twitch streamer, MrSimple [via Dexerto].

MrSimply beat the existing record with 34 kills and an eye-wateringly impressive 6,067 damage. Yikes!

Even more impressively, MrSimple was playing with an entirely random squad, heading into the match solo and risking a match with two random players.

I wonder how long it’ll take for MrSimple’s record to break…? Probably not too long as the competition heats up for the newly released game. Despite being less than a month old, Apex is already looking to be one of the most exciting games in esports.

What’s your highest kill count in Apex Legends?
