Nearly a year after its release, it’s been confirmed that Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale game, Apex Legends, will be coming to mobile.
Unfortunately for those who like to take their games on the go, Apex Legends won’t be getting its mobile version for a while yet.

Chief executive at EA, Andrew Wilson, confirmed during a recent investor call that Apex Legends for mobile won’t be launching until the fiscal year of 2021.
In normal-people-speak, that’s starting from October 1, 2020, putting a potential release date another year into the future. That should be a similar time to the release of the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Scarlett, making it one of the busiest times in history for video games.

Although that’s definitely one helluva waiting time, Apex is still delivering the goods on PC and console.
It was recently announced that the game is getting itself a Duos mode, though it won’t be around forever.
The new Duos mode will – sadly – be a Limited Time Mode, meaning you won’t have too long to take advantage of it. It’ll start be introduced into the game starting November 5, which is when you’ll be able to buddy up and take on the world.
Apex players are pretty happy with the news, though lots of people want to know just why the Duos mode is going to be a temporary addition to the game.
One player commented: “Awesome, but why for a limited time again? This should be a standard mode for a game like this.

“I’m playing exclusively with a good friend of mine since the game launched and we were always forced to play with a random 3rd player.Just let us have Duos and don’t take it away again.”
