Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will Feature Arabic Subtitles and Dubs

Now Ubisoft has taken it a step further by confirming the title will receive full Arabic subtitles and dubbing.

Mirage follows the story of assassin Basim Ibn Ishaq and shows his coming-of-age story in Baghdad, Iraq. With the main protagonist being Arabic, it would make sense for the game to offer Arabic as a language.

However, this is the first time an AC game will feature full Arabic dubbing. Previous titles in the series have only featured Arabic subtitles with native English audio. This news was revealed courtesy of the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account.

“We are happy and proud to announce that Eyad Nassar will star in the Arabic version of Assassin’s Creed Mirage as the main character Basim. Here is a short message from him”, the announcement reads.

Other news for Mirage

Ubisoft has also recently assured fans that Mirage will be taking the franchise “back to its roots.” This will include more focus on stealth and parkour elements as well as a much smaller map than the one seen in Odyssey and Origins.
