BioWare Confirms It’s ‘Definitely Not Done’ With Mass Effect Games

Mass Effect is truly an iconic gaming franchise, and it’s one we’ve not heard from in a while (ignoring Andromeda, of course). If Mass Effect could get back to its roots, it’d definitely make a lot of people happy, and it seems that BioWare definitely has plans for a new addition to the franchise in the future.

Polygon reports that BioWare still has something in the works for the series, and it’s not the first time we’ve heard this rumour.

“We could pull on the threads we put down with Andromeda; we could pull on threads from Mass Effect 3. There’s a lot of interesting space to be explored.”

His sentiments were echoed by Anthem‘s general manager Casey Hudson, who added: “In my mind, it’s very much alive. I’m thinking all the time about things that I think will be great. It’s just a matter of getting back to it as soon as we can.”

Last year, when celebrating N7 Day, producer Mass Effect Michael Gamble wrote: “Happy #N7Day to everyone! I love this IP deeply, and we’ve grown together over the years as fans and developers in it. We still have stories left to tell in this universe…the future is bright”

BioWare currently has its hands full with its online multiplayer game, Anthem, but hopefully a new Mass Effect will be its next project? Please?

Mass Effect fans have been crying out for a new game to get their hands on for a long time now, and BioWare has been teasing us with the idea of a new game just as long, constantly telling us that no, Mass Effect is not dead.

Hopefully we’ll get the revival we deserve, and not a repeat of Andromeda

Are you excited for a new Mass Effect?
