Black Panther Is Finally Coming To Marvel’s Avengers

Black Panther is finally coming to Marvel’s Avengers after previously being delayed by a year.

The Avenger’s inclusion in the Square Enix RPG was postponed out of respect for the late Chadwick Boseman, who played the character in the Marvel films. Black Panther is now finally set to appear in the brawler as part of a DLC expansion titled “War for Wakanda”.

The DLC was revealed as part of Square Enix Presents, a new regular event showcasing the publisher’s games.

While the details given about Black Panther’s DLC are sparse, the trailer does include a conversation between the leader of the A.I.M. (Advanced Idea Mechanics) and Black Panther Antagonist, Klaw. Check it out below.

In the trailer, Black Panther is sporting his iconic black Vibranium suit and matching claws. The Wakanda Prince isn’t the only character coming to Marvel’s Avengers, as Hawkeye is also joining the squad as part of a new update. The update also promises improved graphics, faster loading times and frame rates for players on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Hawkeye’s playstyle will be similar to Kate Bishop’s, with some subtleties mixed in. The archer will use a grappling hook for faster travel instead of teleporting like Bishop.

He’s also got an arsenal of arrows and abilities, which should change things up a bit. Clint Barton also comes with his own mission, Future Imperfect Operation, which features Hulk antagonist, Maestro.

The Avengers update released on the 18th of March, while the Black Panther DLC is due later this year. Perhaps some new content will give Marvel’s Avengers a new lease of life, especially since Monopoly Plus outsold it during 2020 in the UK.
