If that’s not been quite enough for you and you’re missing your real world vacations, then you might want to check out Sentosa Island, the first-ever virtual island getaway that’ll let you explore the AC version of the island in Singapore.

You can now visit Sentosa from the comfort of your own home, simply by booking a slot on the official website. When it’s time to fly, you’ll receive a code which will enable you to access Sentosa Island. You’ll then be taken on a 30 minute tour which shows off some of the best landmarks of the island, lovingly recreated in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Sentosa Island, better known as Sentosa, is an IRL island located off the southern coast of the main island of Singapore, and its many iconic sights have been reimagined within the Nintendo game.

Landmarks including the Sentosa roundabout, the Skyline Luge Sentosa and even beachfront yoga classes can all be spotted on the virtual island, making it the perfect destination for your lockdown staycation.

As the Sentosa website puts it: “We’ve moved our entire island just so you can take a virtual vacation.

“Whether you’re looking for your favourite beach bars, a relaxing staycation or a little me-time at the spas, it’s all here, transplanted from Sentosa to a virtual State of Fun on Animal Crossing.”
