Call of Duty: Mobile is a helluva game even without one its best modes, but if you’ve been holding out and waiting for Zombies mode then the wait is finally over.
Call of Duty: Mobile is officially getting zombies today, with a patch that introduced flesh-eaters at midnight PST November 21, (that’s 3AM PT and 8AM GMT on November 22, and in Australia that’s 9PM on the 21st. The time difference is a little confusing, but hopefully it’s out wherever you are).
The new update has also introduced controller support for the mobile version of CoD, which is only set to make the game bigger and better than ever.
Announcing the news over on Reddit earlier this month, the official Call of Duty: Mobile account posted a pretty hefty update outlining the future plans for the game.
The post starts with the company writing that it has heard the community loud and clear, and yes, zombies will be coming to CoD Mobile.
“Over the past month there is one request that we have seen every single day, ‘where is Zombies?’ It will be at your fingertips before you know it,” begins the post.
“Just a quick note, but we are planning to release controller support soon and are just finalizing the specifics of how it will be working in the game, specifically with matchmaking,” writes Activision. “Keep checking back for more on this as we get closer to release.”
The content roadmap for the mobile game is looking seriously impressive, and will also include anti-cheat mechanics, new skins, new modes and new challenges.
