Call of Duty: Mobile is one of the most successful mobile games of all time, and it’s only set to get bigger and better as it’s been confirmed that the game will soon be getting controller support. Hooray!
Over on Reddit, the official Call of Duty: Mobile account posted a pretty hefty update outlining the future plans for the game, and there’s a lot to unpack here.
The post starts with the company writing that it has heard the community loud and clear, and yes, zombies will be coming to CoD Mobile.
“Over the past month there is one request that we have seen every single day, ‘where is Zombies?’ It will be at your fingertips before you know it,” begins the post.
Although there’s been no release date confirmed for the add-on, let’s hope it’s coming sooner rather than later. Zombies are one of the best additions to any CoD game, and being able to take them on the go will be a huge win for longstanding fans of the franchise.
Excitingly, the company also noted that controller support is being actively worked on, meaning you’ll soon be able to get the best Call of Duty experience possible (aside from Modern Warfare, I mean).
“Just a quick note, but we are planning to release controller support soon and are just finalizing the specifics of how it will be working in the game, specifically with matchmaking,” writes Activision. “Keep checking back for more on this as we get closer to release.”
The content roadmap for the mobile game is looking seriously impressive, and will also include anti-cheat mechanics, new skins, new modes and new challenges. Check out the Reddit post in full right here!
