Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is a fantastic game but it definitely has it flaws. Since launching back in October, the latest addition to the franchise has been plagued with bugs, though they’re things that developer Infinity Ward is working very quickly to fix.
One of the most OP glitches discovered in the game so far is an accidental “God Mode” that seems to have affected a number of players when in multiplayer mode.
Over on Reddit a MW player by the name of chowsk33 shared a clip of the phenomenon. In the video, it looks as though the user is taking absolutely no damage despite getting hit multiple times.
Although it’s not clear what exactly seems to be causing the invincibility bug, it’s believed to be down to the riot shield.
Over on Twitter people have also experienced the same issues. From the looks of things, Activision and Infinity Ward have been notified of the glitch.
One user writes: “I found a game breaking glitch, don’t know what triggered it but I was using a riot shield then I ended up becoming invulnerable, but I couldn’t kill any one. I’m going to upload the video to YouTube so I’ll link it in a bit.” Another shared the following video of the issue in question:
It’s not the only glitch that’s still awaiting a patch.
Wall running, a game mechanic popularised by the Treyarch additions to the Call of Duty series, has also been spotted in Modern Warfare – seemingly unintentionally.
Check it out below.
Let’s not forget that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is still in its infancy at the moment. Hopefully these glitches (and more!) will all be patched out sooner rather than later.
